  A little kit spirit was brought into the universe by two of the most powerful kyubi spirits known at the time.

  OK now I guess this is a bit too far back into Aurora's past, but to know Aurora one must know what she is. Aurora is a kitsune, and not just any ordinary fox, she is an immortal fox spirit. Now while her phyiscal form is limited to a lifespan of approximatly 1000 years, upon reach the age of 1000 she simply returns to her spirit form. Her physical form is mortal she can be killed, though if killed she returns to her spirit form. Returning to her spirit form is not all bad, she can regenerate a new physical form if she desires. Regenrating a physical form for a kitsune requires immense amounts of energy on her part. In other words if she is weakened to badly it can take some time for her to return to a physical form.
  
  As a kitsune ages they grow more powerful, and as they grow more powerful their number of tails increase. It takes nearly 100 years for each tail to grow in some times less sometimes more depnding on its strength. By the time a kitsune reaches 800 years of age their final tail has usually grown in giving them a total of nine tails, and the title of Kyubi.

  Aurora had grown up and now had three tails. In the first 200 years of her existence not much had happened. She grew up in a world where her kind was free to frolic and play in the wild in a feral form. But this existence was soon going to change as anthro kind were becomeing a threat to the very existence of the kitsune.

  A kitsune's spirit is not completely imortal there is ways to destory them, or they can even end their existence if they so choose to avoid their powers from being misused.
